Healthcare

Tennessee is currently facing several major health care issues. The opioid crisis, care for those with mental health issues, caring for our elderly, children's health, the costs related to healthcare, and access to healthcare and health insurance. I work in healthcare and see the problems that we all face. I will work to find solutions and I will support legislation that will improve our healthcare and access to that healthcare.

In our state, healthcare is not just a policy issue; it's a matter of life and dignity. I believe that every person, in every corner of our district, deserves access to quality, affordable healthcare.

• I will fight tirelessly to ensure that healthcare is accessible to all, not just a privilege for the few. It's time for our state to lead the way in making sure everyone has a path to affordable healthcare.

• I understand the financial burden that healthcare costs place on families. I'll work tirelessly to find ways that will reduce healthcare costs, lower prescription drug prices, and make sure that medical bills don't force anyone into bankruptcy.
